I love taking pictures!

I began photographing in the early 80's after receiving a degree in social work. My documentary portaits of new immigrants who fled persecution, combined with their handwritten texts about their new lives in America, seemed a natural extension of my insatiable interest in people.

Today I continue - with increased skill and abundant joy - to photograph for many clients. Whether shooting foreign photojournalism stories, weddings, or portraits, I bring curiousity, commitment and energy to all of my photographic endeavors.

My photographs have won numerous awards, have been exhibited nationally and internationally, and have appeared in many publications.
